new impact absorption technology especially created for VAIO by the VAIO
development team — the VGP-CKSZ1 provides a protective barrier for your

protection to shield its contents from damage during transport. That is
why the VAIO development team created VAIO Smart Protection™.
* On the sides, this unique new technology protects the LCD panel and
shields the PC from other equipment also stored in the case. Its
polyurethane foam outer layer disperses pressure applied from the
outside and a low repulsion polyurethane inner layer absorbs and reduces
the force down to one-third.
* On the bottom where it?s most likely to hit a solid surface, there is
another low repulsion polyurethane layer that also reduces the force
from impacts down to one-third.
